1. Eligibility
10 in Town is intended for a general audience and may be used by individuals of all ages to browse and search for local businesses. However, you must be 18 years of age or older to submit or manage a business listing, enter into any agreement with 10 in Town, purchase any current or future paid products or services, or otherwise use features that require entering into a legally binding agreement. If you are under 18, you may browse and search the directory but may not create, claim, or manage a business listing.
2. About 10 in Town
10 in Town is an independent business directory designed to help users discover local businesses. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, or improve any part of the website or its services at any time.
3. Business Listings
Submission of information does not guarantee publication. We may approve, decline, edit, recategorize, suspend, or remove listings and request additional information before publication. Businesses are responsible for ensuring submitted information remains accurate and current.
4. Accuracy of Information
Businesses are solely responsible for ensuring submitted information is truthful, authorized, and current. False or misleading information may result in rejection or removal.
5. No Endorsement and Limitation of Responsibility
Inclusion in the directory does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, certification, approval, guarantee, or warranty. We may review submissions, but we do not conduct background checks, inspect businesses, guarantee licensing or insurance, verify every statement, investigate every complaint, or continuously monitor listed businesses. Users are responsible for their own due diligence before doing business with any listing. To the fullest extent permitted by law, 10 in Town is not liable for damages, losses, claims, or disputes arising from interactions with listed businesses.
6. Acceptable Use
Users may not submit false information, duplicate listings, interfere with the website, impersonate others, circumvent security, or use the website unlawfully.
7. Automated Access, Scraping, and Aggregation
Except as expressly authorized, robots, spiders, scrapers, crawlers, AI systems, automated scripts, or similar technologies may not copy, collect, harvest, monitor, republish, or commercially reuse website content. Information from 10 in Town may not be used to create, populate, improve, train, or operate a competing business directory, search service, database, aggregator, or AI model without prior written permission. Nothing in this section is intended to prohibit responsible indexing, crawling, or referencing of publicly available content by search engines, AI services, or other indexing technologies that we choose to permit or that otherwise access the website in accordance with applicable law and our published policies. Unauthorized scraping, harvesting, automated access, copying, aggregation, or commercial reuse is prohibited. We reserve all rights and remedies available under applicable law and equity, including injunctive relief, damages, attorneys fees where permitted, and other available legal remedies.
8. Intellectual Property
The 10 in Town name, logos, trademarks, branding, taglines, slogans, website design, graphics, icons, written content, photographs, videos, marketing materials, software, page layouts, and the overall look and feel of the website are protected intellectual property. This includes, without limitation, the taglines and slogans 'Ad-Free. Local. Business. Search.', 'Less Searching. More Finding.', and 'Local Business Search... Reimagined.' Nothing in these Terms grants ownership or license rights except as expressly authorized in writing.
9. No Implied Affiliation
No listing creates a partnership, sponsorship, endorsement, or official affiliation with 10 in Town. No person or business may imply such a relationship without prior written permission.
10. Future Paid Services
10 in Town may introduce paid or premium services in the future subject to additional pricing and terms.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The website is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis without warranties of any kind.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 10 in Town shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages related to use of the website.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 10 in Town from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the website or violation of these Terms.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website after revisions constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.
